The subject of
Banking be made compulsory paper (5th paper) at H.S. 1st Year.
CAES be taken by
those students who have secured 50% marks in Math.
Economics be taken by
rest of the students as addition.
Students can opt out
themselves from taking additional paper.
Students must attend
all the classes including optional and additional subjects to
qualify for the final examinations.
Subjects remain same
both in H.S. 1st Year and 2nd Year classes.
b) B. Com (Degree Course) /
There shall be course of study for the Degree of Bachelor of
Commerce (B.Com.) which shall be three years duration. It shall
consist Part -I for first year, Part -II for second year, and
Part -III for third year.
A Student who has passed the Higher Secondary Exam in
commerce in the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council or and
equivalent examination (10+2) recognized as such by the
University will be eligible for admission into the first year of
the Three year Degree Course in Commerce.
A Student of the course shall be required to take up the
subjects given in the next pages.
There shall be internal assessment of 10 marks for B.Com.
Part-I student from the session 2006-07 under the Rule of
Student who have secured 40% in aggregate at HSLC Exam may
be allowed to admit at major course as per their choice.
Rest of the students admitted in B.Com. if offer major must
undergo a Test for selection of Major subject. The decision of
the Authority will be binding.
